BATTLE FOR TV VIEWERS: Having long had the Sunday afternoon time slot for most of their games, the NZ Warriors have five straight Friday and Saturday evening games in 2022, putting them in direct competition with Super Rugby Pacific, and the debutant Moana Pasifika team in particular, who are also using Mount Smart Stadium to target Auckland’s large Pacific Islander population.
