Debate is raging over whether the Bunker should be allowed to intervene for blatant forward passes following a howler in the preliminary final where Reece Walsh threw an obvious forward pass to Selwyn Cobbo but it was missed by the on-field officials.
The Bunker cannot rule on forward passes because they are considered too subjective, but the NRL is now considering changing that rule for next season.
