Written off by everyone except Benji after their poor showing in Canberra last week, Benji Marshall’s Tigers, led by Api Koroisau responded in the best way possible to hand their rookie coach his first official win in the NRL as the Wests Tigers stunned the previously unbeaten Sharks 32-6.
Meanwhile, the Sydney Roosters celebrated Jared Waerea-Hargreaves’ 300th game in the best possible way, smashing the Rabbitohs,
6-48 in front of a packed out Allianz Stadium.
The victory was the Roosters’ second-biggest win ever over South Sydney in a rivalry that spans 116 years.
