A couple of big upsets in the NRL games yesterday: The NZ Warriors 16-14 the Canterbury Bulldogs in Auckland, the Newcastle Knights 24-14 the Canberra Raiders in Newcastle and NOT a big surprise, the Cronulla Sharks 40-8 St George Dragons in Sydney.
“I can’t believe it. Clint Gutherson is one of the best fullbacks in the game. Sometimes we look at the shiny, bright stuff that fullbacks do, and Gutherson adds so much more to that team than that stuff,” Billy Slater responding to news the Eels are looking for a new fullback.
