Records tumbled as the North Queensland Cowboys utterly dismantled a hapless Wests Tigers outfit in a 74-0 mauling at Queensland Country Bank Stadium yesterday.
The 74-point victory was the biggest winning margin since 1935 and the third-biggest winning margin in history, along with the equal-third most points scored in a game.
Valentine Holmes’ 30-point haul was also the most by an individual Cowboys player in the Club’s history, with the superstar Centre bagging two tries and nailing 11 conversions.
