New Zealand Women won HSBC World Rugby 7s Series gold on a dramatic final day in Hamilton with Michaela Blyde scoring a hat-trick in a 33-7 win over USA in the Cup final, while Australia claimed bronze thanks to a 33-17 victory over Ireland.
Also on Day 2: Samoa beat great Britain 14-24 and they also walloped Kenya 5-26 to finish a very credible 9th, while Tonga lost to Kenya 19-33.
