Samoa has won the HSBC Cape Town 7s, beating the All Blacks 7s 7-12 for the title and earlier beating South Africa 7-10 in their semifinal and Argentina 10-22 in the QFs. Fiji beat Los Pumas 5-29 for fifth place and USA beat South Africa 22-14 for third.
The Black ferns won the Womens title while Team Fijiana finished 7th.
