Would you believe that Fijiana Drua Head Coach, Senirusi Seruvakula does not allow the girls to pray together, write bible references on their strapping or point to heaven after scoring a try like the Fiji Mens 7s team? He tells them to pray on their own and focus on their rugby.

Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua Head Coach Senirusi Seruvakula has named his side for the Super W Championship final against the Waratahs at the AMMI Park in Melbourne on Saturday.

He said “This is a big game for us and I’m very proud of the girls for the work they have done so far in the Championship. No one predicted that we will be in the final and these girls deserve to be in this competition.”

Seruvakula has opted for experienced players in the front row. Joma Rubuti, Vika Matarugu, and Bitilia Tawake will lead the pack while Jade Coates returns to the locks position with Merevesi Ofakimalino. Karalaini Naisewa and Ema Adivitaloga will be at the flanks guided by the experience Sereima Leweniqila who starts at her favorite number eight position.

The best halves pair of Rusila Taoi and Merewalesi Rokouono make the cut for the final. England-based Raijieli Laqeretabua will provide the needed firepower in the midfield together with Roela Radiniyavuni. Vitalina Naikore and Kolora Lomani will provide speed on the wings while Timaima Ravisa will guide the Drua from the fullbacks position.

“All these girls have played more than two games in the Super W so I have had a good look at their performances and this is the best team I have for the final against the Waratahs on Saturday” said Seruvakula.

The Fijiana Drua play the NSW Waratahs at 4.05pm on Saturday.
