Fiji-born All Blacks players, Sevu Reece and George Bower are expected to be named to start for the Crusaders against their fellow countrymen this weekend, when the Crusaders take on the Fijian Drua at 3.35pm Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
Looking back at their 2022 clash in Christchurch where the Scott Robertson side absolutely crushed the Fijian Drua 3-61 scoring nine tries, mostly out wide passing right to left after building pressure and overlap advantage through their forwards.
The big question is – will the Crusaders change anything on Saturday in Lautoka?
Unlikely – they will stick to their tried and true systems and structure, making it a very tough game for the Fijian Drua. Having said that, expect pride playing at home in front of family and the crowd support to make a difference.
