Malo  and welcome to Season 3 Episode 31 of Breakfast Bites, by  TeivovoSports.com – a wrap of Pasifika Peoples sports on this cloudy  Monday morning 31 October 2022, coming to you from paradise on the 180th  meridian in the middle of the Pacific Ocean!

In rugby – New  Zealand, France, Canada and England are the last teams still standing  after the first ever Quarterfinals at a Women’s Rugby World Cup.

France  is the only team never to have made it to a final. England crushed  Australia 5-41 and Canada trumped USA 11-32 in their respective  Quarterfinals yesterday.

At the Rugby League World Cup – Mate  Ma’a Tonga savaged the Cook Islands 10-92 yesterday with Tesi Niu  scoring a hat-trick and Will Penisini four tries on a dominant  afternoon, while Jason Taumalolo, Tui Lolohea and Daniel Tupou helped  themselves to two tries each.

Now Samoa or France await Tonga.

BREAKING  NEWS: Papua New Guinea is through to the Rugby League World Cup  quarterfinals regardless of their result against Wales tomorrow after Mate Ma’a Tonga buried the Cook Islands to wrap up top spot, which means the Kumuls fly through to the quarterfinals.

And Lebanon rastafaried the Reggae Dancing Queens from Jamaica 12-74 in their last game at the RLWC, so adios Jamaica!

Not  bad for such a small country which really only plays cricket and  netball. How they got into this RLWC and the Rugby 7s World Cup in South  Africa recently is a mystery.

What’s next the winter Olympics – sorry forgot Jamaica already done that!

In football – the old lady of Italian football, Juventus, which is publicly traded, is in deep financial trouble.

The Club, which was valued at US$2.5Billion in May by Forbes, ninth among all soccer teams globally and first among Italian Clubs, has lost money each of the last five years, including a US$253Million loss in the last fiscal year, which saw its stock fall 17.6% recently to a market cap of only US$725M.

In  boxing – Youtuber and fake boxer, Jake Paul got the biggest win of his  career yesterday, knocking down Anderson Silva in the final round of  their fight – Round 8 for a unanimous points win.

What  most people don’t know is that Father Time finally caught up to the  Brazilian UFC legend – he is 47 years old and it showed.

Silva’s  output was way too low as he just waited for long stretches, giving up  rounds even though he had the advantage in many areas.

Jake Paul needs to pick on a real boxer and someone his own age!
