In rugby league

Panthers star Jarome Luai has taken to social media to share the BIG announcement on Christmas Day – his engagement to his long-term partner Bailey Paris Toleafoa!

But it’s not the news Wests Tigers fans have been waiting for!

Luai still hasn’t made his mind up yet about the Tigers five-year, A$6Million deal, leaving Tigers fans in limbo.

The Club however believe a deal will be signed in the coming days.

In SportsBiz

British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe has agreed a deal to buy a 25 percent stake in Manchester United for a reported £1.25 billion and will take control of the Premier League Club’s football operations.

Best of luck Jim!

In Combat Sports

Japanese boxing sensation, Naoya Inoue became just the second man to be a two-division undisputed World Champion after claiming a 10th-round TKO win over Marlon Tapales in Tokyo yesterday.

Inoue (26-0, 23 KOs) joins Terence Crawford as having achieved the feat in the modern, four-belt era, having unified the four bantamweight belts in 2022 and now the Super Bantamweight WBC, WBO, IBF and WBA world titles in 2023.

And that’s a wrap!
