In rugby
Fiji plays their first World Rugby U20 Championship Pool game against Australia on Sunday at Danie Craven Stadium, Stellenbosch at 4:30pm local time so at 3:30am Fiji time on Monday morning.
In other Pool games on Saturday: Argentina vs Italy, England vs Ireland, France vs Japan and on Sunday it is Wales vs New Zealand and South Africa vs Georgia.
In rugby league
“I just can’t believe it, I feel awful. Totally gutted,” Gold Coast Titans Coach, Justin Holbrook told The Courier Mail after his shock mid-season axing by the Club yesterday.
He will be replaced by former Manly Coach, Des Hasler.

Man City’s star midfielder and Captain, Ilkay Gundogan is leaving the treble winners to join Barcelona on a free transfer, after being offered a three-year deal when his City contract expires at the end of June.
Pep G offered the 32-year-old a new one-year contract, with the option of a further 12 months, but the writing was on the wall for Gundogan after City agreed a US$38.2Million deal for Chelsea midfielder Mateo Kovacic.

The Qatar Investment Authority purchased a 5% stake in Monumental Sports & Entertainment, becoming the first sovereign wealth fund to invest in a major US professional sports team.
Monumental owns the NBA’s Washington Capital and NHL’s Wizards, as well as the WNBA’s Mystics.
Qatar’s investment values Monumental at around us$4billion.
Qatar’s biggest sports investment to date came in 2012, when it purchased majority ownership of Paris Saint-Germain Football Club @ US$4.2B.
In a similar vein, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund has invested in LIV Golf and professional soccer.
Over the last year, the NBA and NHL have opened up rules allowing private equity @ 20% cap for capital investment in a team and franchises in those two sports can have no more than 30% private equity ownership.
And finally in boxing: A potential epic clash between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg has been set in motion by their fiery social media exchanges.
The stoush came about after Zuckerberg, the brains behind Meta, challenged Musk, the mysterious businessman and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX – Zuckerberg posted on Twitter to a fight in a cage.
We tip Zuckerberg to win by a technical knockout after bashing Musk with his handbag!
