New Zealand betting agency TAB has put up cheeky billboards for the Irish rugby team touring New Zealand in July. One billboard simply says: “0 wins in NZ”. Another one says: “Think the flight was long? Try a 28-year unbeaten streak at Eden Park”. While another says: “4 Kiwis in the team. That might help your odds a little.”
Geez I hope the All Blacks win.
All the smaller Pacific Island nations playing international rugby league against each other this weekend – Samoa, Tonga, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and the Cook Islands have named teams stacked-full of NRL stars and it only costs A$10 for adults to watch these Tests, compared to F$30-185 for Fijian Drua home games.
I’m never gonna give up on that rip off.
How about this for a sports headline – Ronaldo Wins In Cycling!
