In rugby league – Fiji Bati Captain Kevin Naiqama and the youngest player for Fiji at the RLWC, Josh Wong attended the Fiji National Rugby League 30th Anniversary Dinner at the GPH in Suva on Wednesday, mainly honouring the Pioneers who started rugby league in Fiji in 1992. Among them on the night were Captain Alifereti Dere, Livai Nalagilagi, Niko Baliverata and Joe Rabele.
Officials expect a crowd of 64,000 for the RLWC final between Australia and Samoa which will take the total for the tournament past the 382,080 from the 2017 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand but will fall below the record of 453,483 for the RLWC in England 2013.
Go Samoa Go.

In tennis – facing growing protests for change, Wimbledon is relaxing its rule for all-white clothing to allow female players to wear “mid/dark-colored undershorts” to be more comfortable during their periods.
The All England Club said it decided to update the rules after discussions “with the WTA, clothing manufacturers and medical teams on how best to support women and girls competing at the championships.”
The new rules state that women can now “wear solid, mid/dark-colored undershorts provided they are no longer than their shorts or skirt.”
Cheers Girls!
