The Golden State Warriors are back on top of the NBA world after they beat the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of 7 in the 2022 NBA Finals 103-90 in Boston yesterday for a 4-2 sweep.
Steph Curry led the Warriors with 34 points, seven rebounds and seven assists to take home the NBA Finals MVP Award.
Today’s the day for the Blues and the Crusaders with all their All Blacks on display for one more game in Super Rugby Pacific at Eden Park with 45,000 tickets pre-sold.
The big question is, can the Crusaders forwards dominate enough to lay a platform for victory, given that the brilliant backs on both sides will probably cancel each other out.
We tip the Blues to bamboozle the Crusaders in the Richie Mo’unga v Beauden Barrett Show, with the winner of that battle likely to also win the game, which is live on SKY at 7.05pm tonight
In the NRL – the Cowboys scored three tries in three minutes to snatch a stunning 28-26 win over Manly at 4 Pines Park last night.

Trailing 26-12 just seven minutes from fulltime, they mounted a remarkable comeback as Reece Robson, Murray Taulagi and Valentine Holmes all crossed to shock Manly.
Cameron Munster and Jahrome Hughes steered the Melbourne Storm to a dominant 32-20 win over the Brisbane Broncos last night, snapping the Broncos’ seven-game winning run and consolidating second place on the NRL ladder. The Broncos remain in fourth spot.
Finally today – ESPN is reporting that undefeated American Super-Middleweight boxer, Edgar Berlanga Junior has copped a fine of US$10,000 plus a six month ban by the New York State Athletic Commission for biting.
That’s right, Berlanga bit his opponent Alexis Angulo’s ear in the 7th round of their fight recently.
Reminds me of when Iron Mike Tyson bit off a portion of Evander Holyfield’s earlobe in their 1997 fight.
Maybe it’s a lack of nutrition in their diet or something?
