Summary

Malo  and welcome to Season 3 Episode 16 of Breakfast Bites, by  TeivovoSports.com – a wrap of Pasifika Peoples sports on this beautiful  Sunday morning 16 October 2022, coming to you from paradise on the 180th  meridian in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

In rugby – results  from Round Two of the Women’s RWC this weekend: Australia 14-12  Scotland, USA 30-17 Japan and England 13-7 France yesterday in  Whangarei. Today in Auckland we tip Italy to Campari Canada, the Black  Ferns to Steinlager Wales and Fijiana to Moku Siga South Africa.

Go Girls Go.

In rugby league – England  ran in 10 tries to one at St James Park, thrashing Toa Samoa 60-6 in  their opening Rugby League World Cup game in Newcastle this morning.

In  the second game of the day, the Fiji Bati scored first and last in  their opening game in the Rugby League World Cup in England this morning  against Australia, but Mal Meninga’s Kangaroos scored all the points in  between for a gritty 42-8 win.

Mark down Wednesday 19th October at 5.30am here in the Pacific, when Mate Ma’a Tonga plays the Papua New Guinea Kumuls.

In  boxing – former WBC Heavyweight Champ, Deontay Wilder’s partner, Telli  Swift has revealed that her heavyweight boxer does not take part in  pre-fight abstinence. She says that they get it on before and  immediately after his fights.

Wilder  gets into the ring later today against Robert Helenius for the first  time since suffering back-to-back defeats to Tyson Fury.

Er maybe there’s a message in there somewhere for the Wilders?
