Summary

Malo  and welcome to Episode 77 of Breakfast Bites by TeivovoSports.com – a  wrap of Pasifika peoples sports on this beautiful bright and sunny  Thursday morning 15 September 2022 – coming to you from paradise on the  180th meridian in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.

In rugby – Rugby  Japan is requesting that they join the current Super Rugby Pacific  competition of New Zealand and Australian teams, plus the Fijian Drua  and Moana Pasifika, with the top two Japanese Clubs from 2023, to expand  the pay-per-view TV audience.

In rugby league – last  week’s 18th Man, Michael Chee Kam, comes into the South Sydney side to  take on the Sharks on Saturday night at Allianz Stadium in place of  Thomas Burgess after he received a two-game suspension for his high shot  on James Tedesco. The Rabbitohs are otherwise unchanged.

No one touches James Tedesco Thomas – you should know that?

With  a round to play in the NRL Women’s regular season, the Roosters, the  Knights and the Dragons are all guaranteed to play past this weekend,  but they could still finish in any order, with the bottom three clubs  all with a mathematical chance of taking the fourth finals playoff  spot.

Parramatta  Eels Head Coach, Brad Arthur has named the same 17 that went down to  Penrith to deal to the Raiders on Friday night at CommBank Stadium. All  eyes will be on Mitchell Moses for the next 24 hours after he suffered a  head knock against the Panthers but is confident he’ll be cleared.

In football – Liverpool  boss Jurgen Klopp has slapped down the American billionaire owner of  Chelsea, Todd Boehly’s suggestion of an EPL All-Star game pitting North  vs South.

Meanwhile, the Champions  League key results: Man City 3-2 Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid 1-1  Leipzig, PSG 5-0 M. Haifa and Chelsea 1-1 Salzburg.

Only in America – the worlds of boxing and pro wrestling crossed over when ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson was spotted outside of a Cannabis Conference in  Chicago lighting up a marijuana joint with ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric  Flair. The pair became partners in ‘Tyson 2.0’ cannabis business earlier  this year.
