In rugby – Rugby  Japan is requesting that they join the current Super Rugby Pacific  competition of New Zealand and Australian teams, plus the Fijian Drua  and Moana Pasifika, with the top two Japanese Clubs from 2023, to expand  the pay-per-view TV audience.

In rugby league – last  week’s 18th Man, Michael Chee Kam, comes into the South Sydney side to  take on the Sharks on Saturday night at Allianz Stadium in place of  Thomas Burgess after he received a two-game suspension for his high shot  on James Tedesco. The Rabbitohs are otherwise unchanged.

Only in America – the worlds of boxing and pro wrestling crossed over when ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson was spotted outside of a Cannabis Conference in  Chicago lighting up a marijuana joint with ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric  Flair. The pair became partners in ‘Tyson 2.0’ cannabis business earlier  this year.
