In EPL transfer news – Man U has cleared out ten players already as they continue to chase Frenkie De Jong. Meanwhile it appears Arsenal will take Romelu Lukaku off the Blues and Brazilian star, Jesus and Raheem Sterling may both be leaving Man City for the same Club. Guess who?
In Super Rugby Pacific – the Blues needed every ounce of luck and effort to hold out a surging Brumbies finish at Eden Park last night, clinging on for a thrilling 20-19 franchise-record 15th consecutive win that sets up their first major final since 2003 when they beat the Crusaders in Auckland.
NRL scores – The Broncos beat the Raiders 24-18 and the Storm roasted the Roosters 26-18, South Sydney 30-16 Gold Coast Titans and the Cowboys 31-12 St George Dragons. Later today Maika Sivo returns for the Eels against the Bulldogs.
The NBA Finals are all tied up at two games all after Boston blew a golden chance to slay the Warriors in game 3 at home and take a commanding 3-1 lead.
Instead, thanks to another masterful performance by Steph Curry with 43 points, 10 rebounds and four assists the Warriors won by sheer force of will 107-97.
So on to game 5 tomorrow at 1pm on Sky.
Finally today in boxing – “This is all news to me and the biggest load of rubbish ever!” is Tyson Fury’s response tweet to claims in the British media that he will fight the winner between Usyk and Joshua in December in Saudi Arabia.
