It might be a dead rubber but NSW Blues Coach, Brad Fittler has axed five players amid seven changes for ORIGIN III to salvage some pride and avoid their first whitewash in 13 years.
After losing the series in Game II, Fittler has dropped Jarome Luai, Junior Paulo, Tyson Frizell, Hudson Young and Stefano Utoikamanu.
NSW Blues enforcer Payne Haas is out after aggravating an ankle injury against the Dolphins on Saturday night. Tom Trbojevic is out for the dead rubber but his bro Jake returns after missing the opening two games.
