Local rugby fans in Fiji want to know four things from the Fiji Rugby Union:
- How much did they sell their Test against the All Blacks for to take it to San Diego, California USA?
- Did the FRU purposely release the story about Fijian Drua Head Coach, Mick Byrne applying for the Flying Fijians job to appease Fijian fans before news got out about the ABs Test going overseas?
- Did FRU really consider former Fijiana Head Coach, Senirusi Seruvakula for the Flying Fijians job, and if yes – why was he told he wasn’t good enough and dropped, and then called up later the same day for an interview?
- Has the FRU approached the Fijian Drua CEO, Mark Evans to try and do a deal for Seruvakula in exchange for Byrne?
In rugby league
Queensland Head Coach, Billy Slater has named four uncapped players in his 34-man Maroons squad that will come together for a pre-season camp this weekend.
Broncos star Ezra Mam, Roosters halfback Sam Walker, Titans backrower Beau Fermor and Cowboys forward Heilum Luki are all selected.
In football
Man U has a new star in 18-year-old Kobbie Mainoo, who scored a 97th minute winner for United to snatch a dramatic 4-3 win at Wolves on Thursday after blowing a two-goal lead.
Mainoo scored after a brilliant solo run, in the latest display of his potential as a rising star.
Marcus Rashford also scored, days after being fined £650,000 for missing training following a couple of nights out on the piss in Belfast, Ireland of all places!

BREAKING NEWS The Tyson Fury versus Oleksandr Usyk fight for all four major world heavyweight boxing titles, has had to be postponed because of a “freak cut” the Gypsy King suffered above his right eye in training yesterday.
Fury was due to defend his WBC World Heavyweight belt on 17 February in Saudi Arabia against the Ukrainian Warrior – the WBA, IBF and WBO World Champion, in the first undisputed world heavyweight title fight this century.
Fury said in a statement: “I am absolutely devastated after preparing for this fight for so long and being in such superb condition.”
“I feel bad for everyone involved in this huge event and I will work diligently towards the rescheduled date once the eye has healed. I can only apologise to everyone affected.”
