It was Tszyu’s first defeat of his professional career.
Meanwhile in the undercard, fellow Aussie Michael Zerafa vowed to “steal the show”, that he would upset WBA Middleweight Champion Erislandy Lara to become a world champion.
Instead it was the brutal left hand of the Cuban Lara that stopped the Australian in brutal fashion, sending Zerafa crumbling to the canvas in the second round.
