Wests Tigers have released veteran wing David Nofoaluma from the final two years of his contract after the out-of-favour Nofoaluma accepted the Club’s offer to buy out his contract for A$300,000.

The Tigers then released a statement which said the parties had agreed to terminate the contract by mutual consent, effective immediately.

At only 30 years old, Nofoaluma who was some considered has ORIGIN potential, still has a few more years to play.

The background is, Nofoaluma has found it tough to settle back into the Tigers, after Tim Sheens has offered him up in response a request from Craig Bellamy due to a run of injuries in the Storm backs as they played in the NRL finals last year.
