Results: Geelong thumped Sydney by 81 points in one of the biggest wins in AFL Grand Final history. The All Blacks thumped the Wallabies 14-40 at Eden Park and the Springboks 38-21 Argentina. In the NRL, the Panthers thumped Souths 12-32 and so face the Eels in the grand-final.
