Lost in translation?
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that the Rugby League Players Association’s media boycott has backfired because players are unsure what they are supposed to be striking about, and even more farcical, the players are still happily talking to journalists.
Australian Rugby League Chairman, Peter V’landys says “The thing that concerns me most, and I have spoken to a number of players – none of them know what this boycott issue is all about – none of them. They don’t even know why they are boycotting.”
