Wests Tigers have announced they will be redesigning their 2023 ANZAC Round commemorative jersey, after eagle-eyed fans spotted an unforgiveable blunder, pointing out that the soldiers were in fact American based on their uniforms and weaponry, and NOT Australian or Kiwi troops.
The BIG problem for the Tigers is that they spent A$75,000 producing 500 of these jerseys and then they tried to lie their way out of it, by claiming they had consulted with and had the support and endorsement of the Australian Army for the jersey, who later denied any involvement with the Club.
