The NRL has confirmed that
Sydney Roosters veteran Michael Jennings will not receive “official
recognition” for his 300th NRL game on Thursday due to “past conduct”.
The decision comes
just a few hours after the NRL was warned it would be “a disgraceful look for
all women in rugby league” if CEO Andrew Abdo presents controversial Jennings
with his 300-game ball.
But the question must be asked, “Hasn't Jennings already been punished and served a three year ban for his past misdeed?
He has made a comeback after being suspended by the NRL for three years and played his 300th game.
