The interim administrator of the Fiji Rugby Union, lawyer in the Prime Minister’s office and the PMs nominee to the FRU Board, Simone Valenitabua is moving fast to whip the FRU into shape so that staff morale remains high – so far so good.
All they need is more time and and a bit love from World Rugby.
Under World Rugby regulations, national rugby unions can be suspended if there is external interference in the running of the national union or the game.
This could mean, the Flying Fijians cannot participate at RWC2023 in France.
Fingers crossed this does not happen.
