Less than 24 hours after the death of former All Black, Samoa and Blues Wing – “Inga the Winger” Va’aiga Tuigamala, another former All Black star and Flying Fijian Wing, Joeli Vidiri has passed away aged only 48, his Super Rugby franchise Auckland Blues announced yesterday.

Meanwhile, Fiji-based digital media outlet, Teivovo Rugby has called for a Public Inquiry in New Zealand into the deaths of big Pacific Islander Wings Jonah Lomu and Joeli Vidiri in particular, but also Va’aiga Tuigamala as they suspect these players were overdosed with steroids and other medication just to keep them playing.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
