The NRL has admitted a Referee’s error in the Manly-Souths Round 4 game on Saturday after the Sea Eagles were denied a try by Referee Chris Sutton for a forward pass. However, on replay there was no forward pass.
On Monday NRL Head of Football Graham Annesley said the Ref was wrong.
NRL Round 5 games on Thursday and Friday: Sydney Roosters vs Parramatta Eels 8pm Thu at Allianz Stadium, Canberra Raiders vs Penrith Panthers 6pm Fri at GIO Stadium and South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Melbourne Storm 8pm Fri at Accor Stadium.
