BREAKING NEWS 2: The Fiji Rugby Union has just released a statement confirming our TEIVOVO RUGBY report earlier today, that the Flying Fijians first choice flyhalf, Caleb Muntz suffered a serious knee injury and will take no further part in RWC2023.

Some immature people called Teivovo Rugby liars, told us to shut down our business and that this was fake news – an apology would be nice!

Anyway, again quoting unconfirmed but very reliable sources, we have been told that:

·       Caleb Muntz is hoping to have his injured knee operated on in France while he remains with the Fiji team – a decision which requires approval from the Fiji Rugby Union and RWC2023 organisers.

·       Simon Raiwalui and his assistant coaches are very unlikely to select Ben Volavola, although he is the only other specialist fly-half originally chosen in the wider RWC2023 squad.

Whoever they choose to replace Muntz, whether it is Volavola, Botitu or Jon Apted, we at Teivovo Rugby wishes them and the team all the very best in RWC2023.

We also take this opportunity to thank Caleb Muntz for stepping up to the mark and delivering incredible performances for Fiji and the Fiji Water Flying Fijians over the past five tough Tests – his first, against Tonga in Lautoka, Samoa in Apia, Japan in Tokyo, France in Nantes and that historic win against England at Twickenham! Vinaka Caleb.

Check out Fiji’s favourite magazine – Teivovo Rugby in stores Friday with everything that you need to know about RWC2023, plus the mana of the Sigatoka Sand Dunes by Ben Ryan! Vinaka Ben.

And the best part is – it is still only $9.95 VIP, our pre-COVID price, despite increased VAT and inflation! Vinaka Teivovo.
