The Kiwis made a clean sweep of the HSBC World Rugby Sydney 7s titles – winning both finals yesterday after South Africa thrashed Fiji 32-12 and the All Blacks 7s wiped France 5-36 in the Mens semifinals.
In the Women’s comp semi-finals, USA 7-20 France and the Blacks Ferns 41-0 Ireland.
The Finals results: All Blacks 7s 38-0 Blitzboks and the Black Ferns 35-0 France.
Earlier in the day, Fiji Men won bronze 29-5 France. Samoa 24-12 Ireland for fifth place after earlier beating Australia 10-24.
Invitation side Tonga had another big day beating HSBC 7s Series regulars Canada 14-35, Kenya 24-26 and just losing to Argentina 21-19.
