HISTORY as Fiji beat Australia 15-22 in a tight game this morning. Earlier South Africa 76-0 Romania and at 7AM today it’s England versus Japan in Nice. Recapping other games: Samoa 43-10 Chile, Wales 28-8 Portugal and Ireland 59-16 Tonga.

In an amazing reflection on the Fijian influence on the Wallabies, all the tries in the game were scored by Fijians – Mark Nawaqanitwase scored first for the Wallabies, then Joshua Tuisova for Fiji and finally Vunivalu for Australia.

While Australia scored two tries to one, Fiji capitialised on their indiscipline with halfback Simione Kuruvoli kicking four penalties in the first half to keep Fiji in the game and then converting Tuisova’s try for a perfect five out of five conversions, to set up the win.
