The Panthers were simply too good, winning the NRL Grand Final in front of 82,415 fans at Accor Stadium in Sydney last night, with Clive Churchill Medalist Dylan Edwards running 281M, Brian To’o 299M and Nathan Cleary delivering their fourth and first back-to-back NRL titles.

Amazing that 42,000 fans got into Accor Stadium early to watch the NRL Womens Final battle, won by the Newcastle Knights with a 32-12 win over Parramatta whose fans suffered a double loss with their men dumped 28-12 by Penrith.

The question has gotta be asked, “Has Brad Arthur really got what it takes to coach the Parramatta Eels to an NRL Premiership title?” Some Club Executives and Board directors think not, so don’t be surprised if he gets the flick. Timing is critical so they’ll have to wait a bit.
