The opening day of the World Rugby U20 Trophy 2023 in Nairobi saw wins for Samoa 34-25 against hosts Kenya, Scotland ran out 64-33 winners over Zimbabwe, Spain 53-0 defeated Hong Kong China and Uruguay 33-31 pipped USA thanks to a late try.
Two quick tries from Captain John Mata Samuelu and a double from Wing William Hunt gave Samoa a 34-25 win over hosts Kenya in the World Rugby U20 Trophy.
The winner goes up to the Championship next year while Japan drops down to this U20s Trophy comp.
So who will it be – Scotland or Samoa?
