As expected, Fiji crushed Tonga 7-52 in their only game at the HSBC World Rugby Sydney 7s yesterday. Today they play Japan at 11.28am followed by France at 5.33pm with the Men’s Cup Quarterfinals running from 9.05pm.
In the Sydney 7s Women’s games yesterday, Fijiana 5-17 Great Britain but they bounced back to trip up USA 14-17. Fijiana play Canada at 1.06pm today with Women’s Quarterfinals from 6.54pm.
Also in Sydney yesterday, Samoa beat Ireland 12-17 in their first pool game. They play USA at 10.22am today, followed by Spain at 3.43pm.
We tip Samoa to win the Sydney 7s.
