The AFL has signed the richest TV deal in Australian sports history with the incumbent holders of their broadcasting rights, FOXtel and SEVEN worth A$4.5billion over seven years from 2025. Apparently NINE offered A$500Million-a-year for the free-to-air rights but missed out.
